This Sunday evening the Grand Rapids Public Museum will host its increasingly popular annual “Night at Your Museum” event from 6 pm to 9 pm. Inspired by the popular Night at the Museum movies, this event allows children (and credulous adults) to enter the role of night security guard in a dimly lit museum, complete with living exhibits all over the building. There will be medieval knights, Civil War soldiers, and ceremonial Native American dancers, along with access to the carousel and planetarium. Tickets to this event are $20 per person. For those who want to really experience the event, there are a limited number of early entry tickets available for a pre-event dinner with the Queen. Dinner tickets cost $40 per plate, and the dinner begins at 4:45 pm.
